Can the CMOS/BIOS be erased when no RAM or CPU is installed? - asus bios erased
I am building a PC still not bought a CPU or a RAM for the moment. Asus Maximus Formula, I have a mother who has a "Clear CMOS" button on the back of the office. I accidentally pressed while the jury was. Did not the BIOS / CMOS? - Or is it only lost my settings?

You forgot to user settings will be restored to the default settings.
So, if you made changes to the BIOS settings (using passwords to boot up, wake on LAN, overclocking, etc.), then everything will be undone.
